Here are some useful notes from Trish - there's a lot of helpful information here, so please do have a good read!
This is once again a chance for you to enter 3 of your images (via the email system) to showcase your interpretation of 'scapes.

This week there will be a short presentation on why you should dodge and burn, and some different methods you can use. Whilst it will be demonstrated in Photoshop, the principles are identical in any post processing software.
After the demo, we encourage you to edit some of your images from Thursday night (if you weren't at Thursday's meeting, then just bring other images to edit). If you don't have mobile capability, you can still come along to learn by watching the demo, and then sitting with some of the members who may be editing their images. ...

Bring your camera with your "nifty fifty" lens or a similar multi-use lens for an evening of different photography activities. Working in small groups we will rotate around 5 different set ups, with assistance on hand to ensure you have the best possible experience.
Set ups are expected to include: macro, oil on water, light pad, light-painting and portrait.
You will help each other with holding reflectors, setting the props and even being the models.

A fun evening where you can submit your "nature" images which wouldn't qualify for a formal Nature competition. As many dogs, cats, sheep or cows or Gerbils as you like, or that exotic orchid from the supermarket, all of which would be banned from a Nature competition. Have fun!

This is the one where we get to look at and comment on the physical prints from last year's WCPF Print Exhibition. It's always a good start to the new Season and a chance to share our opinions in a relaxed and fun evening. It's also a good opportunity to meet any new club members joining us for the first time.
