Unless I have any other requests, this will be aimed at being a camera skills night. So instead of bringing your laptop, bring your camera. The aim will be to have a look at settings and getting off auto - but also thinking about when partial auto may be useful. I will give more instructions closer to the date.

Welcome back to Steve. He has been here several times as judge and presenter and I'm sure we all remember his stunning infra-red images and his vegetable landscapes! He's an inventive, creative and highly original photographer. Steve's talk tonight is entitled "Creative Post-Processing" where he will show and explain some of his techniques in Lightroom, Photoshop or any mainstream programme.

Thu 8 May 2025 - Our Annual Three-Way Challenge!
Firmly established now on the Club calendar, this is the one where the members are arbitrarily and randomly split into three teams and everyone tries to submit their best images to try and win for the team. At this point we will not go into detail about the last three years but will keep our fingers crossed for a change in the winning climate!

This is the BIG one, our Image Of The Year Competition. And who better to judge it for us than our good friend Aleks!
Alex Gjika DPAGB, EFIAP is a member of Cheltenham Camera Club, Chairman of Cheltenham International Salon Of Photography and of course creator of Pixoroo which by this time will be well known to us all as an amazing tool for running our competitions.
Aleks won't mind me saying he can be a bit of a "Marmite" figure where photographic critique is concerned but one thing is for sure, you won't be bored on this, our last formal evening of the Season before...
