Scheduled for the last Tuesday of each month, these "Photo Skills" evenings will cover a variety of topics.
This week, brush up your editing skills, ask questions and identify what alternative software may be useful. Plus we will take a look at AI to assist with our edits - but in a 100% legal way for camera club competitions!
It's a hands-on evening so please bring your laptop.

Patterns are built on repetition - strong pattern images that extend the pattern from edge to edge. Texture is a quality of structure that is revealed through lighting. Many - massing subjects can give a sense of wonder and the unexpected. Choose to adopt one for each of the five images you share. As usual, please bring along up to 5 images on a named memory stick.

Tonight it's our annual three-way Battle with Cirencester and Cheltenham camera clubs. Last year we pulled off a coup and managed to beat Cheltenham to come first! This is a compositional technique that will enhance the dimensionality of your images. The viewer will be pulled through from one plane to another. You can use a literal frame or, like Ansel Adams and Michael Freeman who have both used objects found in the environment to frame a shot.
