Apologies but our published speaker this evening let us know yesterday afternoon that he is unwell and understandably can't make the trip from Birmingham to talk to us this evening. After some hasty research by the committee and various options being discussed, Trish has come up with a video presentation which we think will prove to be a highly entertaining, informative and appropriate replacement.
Mark Evans runs Camversation, ( https://www.camversation.co.uk/ ) which as I'm sure you all know is a website organising live online photography talks and workshops. Mark is a senior lecturer at Cambridge University, a former deputy head teacher and a highly competent presenter.
Mark won his camera club's league with images taken solely with his mobile phone and his video presentation this evening is based on mobile phone photography and editing "in-phone" using Snapseed.
It could be an evening when you'll be excused for having your phone out to maybe check out some of the advice on offer - just leave it on "silent!"
